Success story

Petrol station at a customer fuel depot

Type of application
At a tank farm with several solvents, tank lorries have to be loaded and unloaded.
As the media have to be sampled before unloading, sampling with a preliminary process was necessary.
The solvent waste must also be filled into a tank lorry.

Process data
Pressure: static pressure from the tank lorry max. 2 barTemperature is also not critical, ambient temperature max. 60°C
Loading and unloading takes place in an EX zone, whereby electrical conductivity must be guaranteed.

Task
The tank farm has several media that must not be mixed up. The MannTek dry couplings, which are provided with a code, prevent the hoses from being mixed up.
At the customer's request, we have had adapters made for draining the media, which are attached to the tanker lorry.
The adapters as well as the couplings are colour-coded so that the operator has a visual check in addition to the mechanical coding to ensure safety.
